Tracer Bullet - Private Eye

Drew this on a notepad (with little blue lines and everything) - 'twas a you-know-what to pretty up. I know its got some major errors; I forgot about his fedora and tried to add many of it's details in post. Its still not a fedora, but I'm proud of it.

What can I say other than if you haven't read or at least heard of C&H I feel VERY sorry for you. Tracer was my favorite of Calvin's identities and, in my opinion, was far underused.

Not that I can't understand why: He carried a gun (not a walkie-talkie, an actual bullet shooting weapon) drunk alcohol (not fruit juice), shot people (in his fantasies) and got beat up goons (in real life, but ALSO in his fantasies).

Now I'm not saying that modern kids entertainment needs more blood, guts, and violence (personally, I enjoy PBS) - but at the same time lying to kids about how stuff works isn't going to magically turn them into the eco-minded, society-saving angel babies we hope they will in order to clean up our messes.

I guess what I'm saying is: Back in the 'day' when a show wasn't violent, it wasn't violent...and it could still be good! If it WAS violent then...X-Men, Spiderman, [link], Roughnecks (a bit later, but still awesome)...you see where I'm going with this right? Good.

Long story short - Tracer Bullet FTW.
